Bunaken’s waters are home to over 390 species of coral and more than 2,000 species of reef fish, all thriving in crystal-clear conditions. Expect a dazzling kaleidoscope of marine life, including angelfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, sea turtles, jackfish, needlefish, and the majestic Napoleon wrasse—just to name a few.

Cha Cha’s house reef is conveniently located directly in front of the resort.
At low tide, it is just a short walk to the water’s edge; at high tide, only a short swim away.
Whether you head out before breakfast—a wonderful way to start the day—or at any time throughout the day, there is no fixed schedule. Simply grab your mask, snorkel, and fins, and explore at your own pace for as long as you wish.
Don’t forget the magic of sunset snorkeling, or even night snorkeling (torch rental available), when the reef reveals a completely different side of its marine life.
The house reef offers you the freedom to snorkel whenever you wish, making every moment your own.
Morning Boat Snorkeling Tour (4 Hours)
This tour offers the opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful reefs within Bunaken National Marine Park. You will be accompanied by one of our experienced snorkeling guides, whose keen eye will help you spot marine life you might otherwise miss.
With a bit of luck, you may even encounter dolphins during the journey. You are almost certain to see the many sea turtles that call Bunaken home, along with an incredible variety of reef fish and vibrant corals—so many, in fact, that you may not remember them all.
For your comfort, towels and refreshments are provided on board.
The boat departs Bunaken Cha Cha Nature Resort at 08:30 and returns at approximately 12:15, just in time for lunch.
