7. Accommodation & Facilities
• Rooms are cleaned daily, with sheets and towels changed every 3 days to reduce environmental impact.
• Ocean View Villas are located upstairs and are accessible via several steps.
• All rooms include air conditioning and a private bathroom. Air conditioning operates during generator hours: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Outside of these times, we rely on local island electricity(PLN). As power supply on remote islands may be limited, occasional interruptions can occur. We consider this part of the island experience and appreciate your understanding.
Please note: We do not operate the generator during scheduled local power outage hours, even if electricity is not supplied by the village (PLN) except in emergencies..
• For safety reasons, guests are kindly requested not to open or tamper with the electrical box installed outside the room.
The air conditioner may only be used while the generator is running and must not be operated using local electricity supplied by PLN. As this is a high-voltage system, please refrain from opening the box or attempting to operate the air-conditioning power supply. The resort cannot be held responsible for any electrical accidents, injuries, or equipment damage resulting from such actions.
• Hot water is available in all showers. Guests are kindly requested to use it considerately, especially after diving, to ensure availability for everyone.
• Potable water bottles are refilled daily in the rooms. Complimentary refills are also available at the bar to help minimize plastic use.
• Guests are kindly requested to take responsibility for their own beach towels. Please note that towels left on the beach may be mistaken for those of other guests or lost due to the tide. Towels for boat activities are provided; therefore, guests are kindly requested not to bring beach towels on board.
• Wet Landing - There is no jetty in front of Bunaken Cha Cha Nature Resort, so guests will experience a wet landing when arriving by boat.
We recommend wearing shorts and sandals, or clothing that can be easily rolled up.
(Don’t worry—our team will be happy to assist with main baggage such as suitcases.

Bunaken Island is located approximately one (1) hour by boat from the mainland and is not equipped with medical facilities, nor facilities to accommodate guests requiring special assistance.
• Due to the sloping terrain of Bunaken Cha Cha Nature Resort, the property includes stairs and steps. Balconies and terraces have height differences, and there is no jetty; access is directly from the beach.
Therefore, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, including during marine activities (such as swimming, boat trips, and snorkeling from the beach).
Guests who require special assistance of any kind (including persons with disabilities, children, pregnant women, or guests with limited mobility or medical conditions) are responsible for taking all necessary precautions and measures to address any emergency that may arise.
